大东海旅游区位于海南省三亚市中心城区的南部大东海片区，坐落在榆林港和鹿回头风景区之间。三面环山，一面为海，具有独特的区位和自然优势，以蓝天、碧海、青山、绿椰、白沙滩独特之美吸引了众多国内外游客。从远处眺望，大东海的全景一览无余。浩瀚蓝天与辽阔碧海相连，银色沙滩与翠绿椰林辉映、飞驰游艇与翱翔海鸥比翼，大东海为市民游客描绘了一幅壮美的山水画卷。大东海沙滩平坦细软，缓缓延伸，长达千米，市民游客既可以畅游于碧波之间，浮游于雪浪之上，也可以躺在沙滩上沐浴着柔和的阳光，在沙滩上拾贝壳、挖螃蟹、垒沙塔。
大东海旅游区正在布局餐饮、娱乐、休闲、购物等景区配套服务，并充分盘活广场及沙滩资源开展活动运营。截至目前，大东海旅游区已经引入了对标巴厘岛Finns的沙滩餐酒吧IPK、意大利卡比詹尼手工冰淇淋，全新概念的海南老爸茶，以及国内知名新消费业态喜茶、瑞幸以及肯德基，同时推进本地知名品牌东海龙宫、椰小陌、五湖轩和四海阁进行全面升级。景区已成功落地承接2022年海南岛国际电影节、2023年三亚首届户外露营节、2023年全国沙滩摔跤对抗赛、2023年三亚市全民健身沙滩排球等活动，并保障多项市、区政府，各职能部门社会公益活动成功举办。

The winter water temperature in the scenic area is around 18-22 ℃, making it an ideal place for winter swimming and leisure activities such as sea bathing and sunbathing.
The Dadonghai Tourist Area is currently laying out supporting services for catering, entertainment, leisure, shopping and other scenic areas, and fully utilizing the square and beach resources to carry out activity operations. Currently, the scenic area is equipped with beach umbrellas, storage cabinets, and leisure service facilities such as seawater dilution. It can carry out sea amusement projects such as banana boats, motorboats, and sailboats, and host the first Sanya Outdoor Camping Festival, the 2023 National Beach Wrestling Competition, and more In 2023, the Sanya City National Fitness Beach Volleyball and other activities will be held, and multiple social welfare activities of the city and district governments and functional departments will be successfully organized.
